Francois Fevrier is the new CEO of SUEZ Asia, leading the Asia team to implement the strategic plan for 2027
Effective from 1 January 2023, Francois Fevrier officially succeeded Steve Clark as the new CEO of SUEZ Asia, responsible for all SUEZ businesses in Asia, including water management, recycling and recovery, treatment infrastructure, and smart and environmental solutions.
Steve Clark will remain with SUEZ as Strategic Advisor for Asia to help deepen SUEZ’s relationships with key partners in the region. His directorships in SUEZ JVs in Chongqing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Macao remain unchanged. Steve has held various positions in SUEZ Asia since 1999 and was appointed CEO in 2013.
Francois Fevrier holds an MSc degree from Agro Paris Tech and an MBA from Institut Français de Gestion. He joined SUEZ in 1989 and is a water industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. Fevrier has played an instrumental role in developing SUEZ’s water business, producing stellar results. He has held several executive positions within the Group, including Sales Director for Operation and Maintenance, Managing Director for Standard Product Division in France, and Sales Director for Central Europe for the Group’s Treatment Infrastructure business, formerly known as Degremont. In 2000, he served as Managing Director of the Group’s Water and Wastewater Treatment Equipment business line in Zurich, Switzerland, and in 2005, he was Managing Director of the Degremont Technologies business line. From 2008 to 2015, he was assigned to Dubai and Beijing as Executive Vice President of Business Operation of Treatment Infrastructure, overseeing operations in the Middle East, India, Asia, and Australia. In July 2013, he was appointed CEO of Water in Asia, where he was fully responsible for the region’s water operations and treatment infrastructure business.
With the implementation of SUEZ’s strategic plan for 2027, the Group’s operations in Asia will be increasingly focused on providing circular solutions to customers along the water and waste value chain.
